The wireless USB dongle AS700 enables your existing non-Bluetooth host device with one-to-many wireless connectivity through USB interface. It is compatible with all Arkscan’s wireless products including wireless barcode scanner and RFID readers.
In mobile scanning tasks such as access control, AS700 wireless dongle plays an important role in collecting data from multiple input devices to a shared host device. Designed to have easy operation, the installation of AS700 wireless dongle is only a matter of plug and play; it also takes only one scan at the MAC address barcode to pair with AS700 wireless dongle. Therefore, even entry-level users with no special training can handle the whole operation of AS700 wireless dongle.
AS700 wireless dongle works as a USB keyboard device, making it compatible among PCs of Mac, Android, and Windows systems.
AS700 wireless dongle features ScanLink, with which scanners could establish wireless connection with the dongle by ONE simple scan at the MAC address barcode. No driver or any complicated setup operation is needed.
AS700 wireless dongle is capable of connecting up to 7 wireless barcode/RFID readers at the same time.
Due to the checksum verification and handshaking mechanism during communication, the quality and integrity of data transmission is greatly secured and the risk of data loss is eliminated when barcode/tag data is transferred from barcode/RFID readers to the AS700 wireless dongle.
