NOTE: Before you get started, you will need to create a custom label size within the operating system for your label, so that it will be available as a paper size when you print. Please see the videos below for more instructions on how to do this:
There are several options available to create, design, and print custom labels. Please refer to the documentation below to learn more about some of the options:
Option #1 - BarTender (Windows Only):
This is our most highly suggested way of creating a custom label. BarTender allows the user to create, design, and print labels. Such as, designing and printing product labels with a unique serial number, a name tag, product logo, and so on. You do NOT use this software to print a shipping label.
NOTE: This software is offered for Windows only. For Mac users, please see our instructions below on how you can use Google Slides or Microsoft Word.
- When installing the program, please be sure and select BarTender Ultralite Edition. This is a free version available for our customers.
- Please click on this link if you need to download the BarTender Ultralite software.
Option #2 - Google Slides:
Google Slides can be an easy, convenient, and free resource for creating and designing labels. Please see the instructional image below on how to do this.
NOTE: When you get to step 3, you will use the dimensions of the label you are using instead of the example numbers given in the instructions.
Option # 3 - Microsoft Word:
NOTE: When you get to steps 9 & 10, you will use the dimensions of the label you are using instead of the example numbers given in the instructions.
